1. a) The relationship between Catherine and her father is very close. She is willing to take care of him although he has mental problem.
b) The relationship between Catherine and her sister is bad. They are often quarrelling. Her sister always treat her as if she has mental problem.
2. In my opinoion, Catherine is a strong character. She is the one who taking care of her father for 5 years without any help from others. At the same time, she continues studying at home.
3. Catherine thinks that if she could start it over again, she could do it better. This is because she regrets on everything that she has done, her aggresive behavior makes others misunderstand toward her. She could go line by line in explaining to everyone that she was the one who comes out with the mathematics theory.
4. The movie is trying to tell us everything must be done line by line. We could make things better as human being is always smart and owns a great spirit!
