ORGAN DONATION

As the technology become develops, we can do a lot of thing to save people’s life. If in the past, many of people suffer from the kidney failure, today the amount is decreasing. Our health level around the world has increase when the organ donation has been introduced. What exactly the meaning of organ donation? Organ donation is the removal of the tissues of the human body from a person who has recently died, or from a living donor, for the purpose of transplanting.

Experts say that the organs from one donor can save or help as many as 50 people. This amount is a lot and helping many people. The procedure of donate the organ is the same as the surgery.The process of organ and tissue donation involves a sterile surgical operation undertaken by a skilled team of surgeons. There is no mutilation or disfiguration of the body. The donor is treated with utmost respect and dignity as in any operation. Following removal of the organs and tissues, the surgical wound will be closed just as in any other operation.

The organs that can be donate included heart, intestines, kidneys, lungs, liver, and pancreas. This organ will be taken from donour who are still alive or donour who are already death.Only the healthier organ will be chosen. People of all ages and background can be organ donors. If you are under age 18, your parent or guardian must give you permission to become a donor. If you are 18 or older you can show you want to be a donor by signing a donor card. You should also let your family know your wishes.

Although organ donation can save many life, but not all people aware about it. So to change our people to become a donor, campaign should be set up especially in the rural area. It is because rural area is always lack of information about organ donation. How it can be done? By sending people that have an experience on it to give a talk about the benefit of organ dontion.By doing this way, many people will believe the benefits of organ donation. Not only a talk, video's about how organ donation can be done should also being viewed to the people.

Beside that an exhibition could also be done. In the exhibition, a lot of information and pictures can be exhibit to people.The entrance fee should be free so that many people will enter. To make it more success, it should be announce in the media for example television, newspaper magazine and many more. This help a lot to attract people going to the exhibition.

For the conclussion, people should support an organ donation by involve in any campaign or be the organ donation itself. Many life outside need our help. If we do not care about them, who want to care about them anymore. It started from us as human to help other human by donating an organ.
