Time Management
Time management is a set of principles, practices, skills, tools, and systems that help you use your time to accomplish what you want. However, the concept of time management in Malaysia is considered under the average level. This is due to the attitude of the residents toward their time management.
In Malaysia, if there is any wedding dinner or celebration, the time to start usually will not be on time. This because of the late coming of guests. For them, there is a misconception about the time. They always think that the time start of the assembly must be later 30 minutes than the actual time, so they will come later. They are failed to manage their time properly. This condition shows how poor is the time management for Malaysian. Compared with the western country, their time management is well developed. You will seldom any late in the western country. Time management is a critical problem that needs to be improved as soon as possible in Malaysia.
Time is very important. There are many reasons cause us need to make an attention on how to have a proper time management. First, time is limited. Time is a very special resource in that you cannot store it or save it for later. Everyone gets the exact same amount of time each and every day. If you don't use your time wisely, you can never get it back. Time is scarce. Most people feel like they have too much to do and not enough time. Lack of time is blamed for everything from not getting enough exercise, poor finances, unachieved goals, too much stress, bad relationships, and even an unfulfilled life. Time management helps you use the time that you do have in better ways.
Besides that, you need time to get what you want out of life. You need time to do almost anything worthwhile in life. Waiting for more free time is a loosing game that almost never results in getting time for what you want. You need to learn how to make time for the things that are important to you. Even if you can only afford to give a small amount of time each week to your goals, you'd be surprised at how much progress you can make. A good time management make you can accomplish more with less effort. When you become more productive using improved time management skills and tools, you can accomplish more with less effort. Reducing wasted time and effort gives you even more productive time throughout the day. Both of these allow you to make time for a wide range of activities that bring more balance and fulfillment to your life.
For me, I am having a proper time management. I am having a timetable to manage or as refer my daily routine. Having sensitivity toward time is very important in time management. We need to alert the time like how many time that we should spend on doing something. I never spend too much extra time on doing something, because this will disturb the schedule that I planned. As having a proper time management, I will always be on time for any appointment or gathering.
A systematic time management will lead you gain many advantages in your life. To be a good time manager, you must be always be prepare, alert, and concentrate. In order to manage your time successfully, having an awareness of what your goals are will assist you in prioritizing your activities. Time management provides you with the opportunity to create a schedule that works for you, not for others. This personal attention gives you the flexibility to include the things that are most important to you.
