TIME MANAGEMENT
Time management, ‘Malaysia Tak Boleh’! Time is extremely precious that even money could not buy it. However our Malaysians never realize about that. Therefore, actions should be taken to make them aware about the importance of time.
As we can see and hear from nation news, there are millions of criminal cases especially juvenile crimes which are highlighted in Malaysia. Teenagers are the one who contribute to mould the future leaders of tomorrow. They have the responsibility to spearhead Malaysia to greater height in the eye of world. Yet, some of them involve themselves in robbery, scam and Mat Rempit. How sad and embarrassing it is! They do not know to appreciate their golden adolescent time to do something beneficial and meaningful. They should have studied hard and trained themselves to be competent. Wasting their time as if wasting money and the human sources in Malaysia.
On the other hand, Malaysians like to procrastinate and accomplish their works at last minute of the deadline. Again, this shows that Malaysians have poor time management. If someone who is time-minded and arrange their time properly, he would accomplish their assignments and jobs as fast as possible so that it would not be rushing during last minute. The possibility to get mistakes and errors is high when we do something under the rush. Besides that, if there are any functions and ceremonies to be attended such as wedding ceremony and opening ceremony of an event, they would not start at the exact and actual time. It must be a delay for 30minutes and beyond it. It is a bad habit among Malaysians. It is embarrassing if there are attendants from other countries in that ceremony. What might they think of our Malaysians?
Since we have already sort out the weakness of Malaysians, we must improve from time to time. It is not too late to change our mindset towards time management. Parents and teachers should be the role models to children. For instance, parents who promise their children to playground every weekend must show their punctuality and promises so that children will be trained to be punctual and have a good concept on time. They must be taught to well arrange their time since they are young.
Not only children have to be taught to manage their time properly but adults should have been brainwashed to become punctual in all meeting. Everyone dislikes to wait for people. If all de attendants come in time, therefore, the meeting or ceremony can start and dismiss on time. The precious time then will not be wasted. Someone who is not punctual will be left out. So he can have better attitude of punctuality next time. Gradually, the bad habit before can turn into better one.
Time management is very crucial in every aspect. For children, students, labors, businessmen, doctors and everyone of us, time can be equivalent to gold. De past will become our teacher and the future will become our students. To improve the past and build a bright future, APPRECIATE the time being!!!
