Alternatives to Improve Nursing Centre

The world is moving towards globalisation, here there everywhere, developments. As everyone is rushing towards development, they do not have time for the old folks. Thus, sending old folks to the old folks house or caring centre is their only choice. This is the situation or phenomena presents in our country nowadays. Do you want to change this situation? Should we let this situation continue in country? How are we going to change their point of view towards old folks?

First of all, the communities should know the reason why people send the old folks to caring centre. Basically, people will think that those who send their parents to the old folks house think that their parents is a burden. However, the truth is that the children are busy with their career and they do not want anything bad happen to their parents when they are not around. Thus, they send their parents to caring centre. Therefore, the caring centre must complete with the conveniences so that the old folks can get great care.

The caring centre should enforce the regulations of old folk’s house. This can be done by requesting the family member to visit the old folks once a fortnight. If they are not able to do this, they might never get the contract. This is to ensure that they still have a close relationship even though they are not living together. Other than that, the caring centre should provide trained medical crews to take care of the old folk’s health. By doing this, we can make sure that the old folks are always in good health.

From the view of amenities, we can increase the number of wheelchairs, and build more slopes for the convenience usage of old folks. This will ease the old folks to move around. They also can build up the handle at toilet or staircase to make sure that the old folks safe whenever they use it. Moreover, they can provide or use household equipments that are not shape, such as the edge of the table. This is to ensure the old folks wouldn’t hurt themselves.

In addition, the caring centre can arrange trips to the old folk’s hometown so that they do not feel boring for just staying at old folk’s house. This will avoid them from thinking pessimistically once they are put inside the old folk’s house by their family. This also will enhance the relationship between old folks. They can know each other better and help each other, as we live we need partner. Good relationships make sure that we live happier. Moreover, they will have close friends to talk to when they face problems.

Other than that, we also plan to have an empty land inside the old folk’s house. This can be the place for the old folks to plant some vegetables and flowers. Excluding from filling their leisure time, they also can get some pocket money from the selling. We hope that this method can help them from feeling isolated to be in the old folk’s house.

In conclusion, by changing the quality of the services provided in the old folk’s house, we hope that we can amend the view of society towards old folk’s house. Thus, making the old folks live as a big family in the old folk’s centre and enjoy their life their.
